Characteristics

It is a medium-sized tree, rounded crown,11-15 m height, sharp spines, and most fragrant with yellow coloured flowers. It is almost semi deciduous or evergreen in nature depending on climate. Its fruits seemed to be bean pods when ripened.

Propagation

It is mostly propagated through seeds. Seeds are sown in July to August or Feb-March. Seedlings are ready for transplanting in posts within four months and plants are grown up for planting in field after one year.
